I altered a pattern from Lotta Jansdotter's Simple Sewing. I made Jason's a bit bigger, so it would cover his lap and mine a bit smaller. I left off the pocket.
So far, they've been awesome. It's prevented a lot of extra crumbs in the car. I totally recommend making a few of these for your next road trip.
