Happy May Day! and a Giveaway!

Readers, I have a special treat for you.  The nice folks at CSN Stores are offering a $40 gift certificate good at any of their 200 online stores.   CSN Stores has over 200 online stores where you can find everything from bar furniture to briefcases, sewing machines to sofas, and a whole lot more!

So, how do you enter?

Are you feeling lucky and want to start shopping early? Head on over to CSN Stores and make your wish list now!

Here's a few things I'd love if I could win my own giveaway and owned a house where I could put them.  I can't win my own giveaway and I live in an apartment, but hey... a girl can dream, right?

Isn't this grill awesome?  It's the Landmann Round Rock Grill, Rotisserie, and Fire Pit.  I just wish I had a place to put it.  It probably isn't such a good idea to put a fire pit on a wood balcony in my apartment.

I love this idea!  Look how pretty the cat box is.  I think Lily would love to take care of business in this Merry Products Washroom Pet House in Espresso.  She has good taste, you know.

I really, really love this light fixture.  Unfortunately, I live in an apartment (for the moment) and don't think they'd like it all that much if I installed this Murray Feiss Chateau 6 Light Chandelier in Mocha Bronze with Crystals in the dining room here.

Want to enter?  You can have up to three chances.
  1. Leave a comment on this post telling me what you're projects you are working on currently.
  2. Sign up to become a subscriber or follower of Sewbot's Laboratory.  Leave a second comment on this post saying that you're a subscriber/follower for a second entry!
  3. For a third entry, write a post on your own blog about this giveaway.  Be sure to include a link to your blog in your comment so we can all come check it out.
Make sure your email is included with each post so we can contact you if you are the winner.  Be sure that you leave a separate comment for each of the three entries.  Unfortunately, this is only open to my readers in the US and Canada.  Be sure to leave your comments by Saturday, May 8th, 2010 at 11:59p.m. C.S.T.   I'll draw a winner using a random number generator on Sunday, May 9th, 2010.

Good luck!

my current projects include a foundation pieced quilt using a single "tile" and to make each block.. Its a cool system to learn and use. I'm also working on my 450 piece apple core quilt with all curved pieces. I love a challenge!!

I'm in between major projects at the moment. I have started 2 baby quilts and need two more....lots of babies coming! I also am a member of the block lotto, so have 9 blocks tomake this month...they are reed blocks and are a liberated style using curves this month. We just finished wonky shoo flies. My daughter gave me fabric to make some curtains for her son's new room....so I have lots to do besides organizing my scrap bin and clearing the surfaces in my sewing room!

Oooh, I love this! My husband just made a smoker out of terra cotta pots and a hto plate. The smoked brisket is amazing, but the pork is even better! I am about to embark on a mission to create a pirate's treasure chest. I am a photographer and I think it would be a cute summer prop. :)

I am working on... packing. And an overdue baby quilt. And a bunch of bags for craft shows. I pretty much just have PILES of projects that need finishing, but all I want to do is look at paint colors.

I am working on getting my condo ready to be rented... paint, carpet shampooing, minor repairs. Can't wait to be done and get some rental income and then I can go back to quilting!! :)

I am working on a granny square quilt that I've been working on for about a year, on and off. I'm going to get it finished by this Winter, I swear!

I have way too many projects going on right now! I'm working on about 5 different quilts and am in a ton of online bees. But I love it all and especially the fabric! I have high goals for this year to make quilts for all my SIL's. Hopefully I'll make it.
