I've been keeping a secret.

Have you noticed I haven't been around a lot lately?  I'm sorry I haven't been here to entertain you like I have been in the past, but I think I have a pretty good excuse.

And that excuse is?  In December, I'll be giving birth to a baby!  That's right, I'm currently 18 weeks pregnant.  I've been dealing with nausea and morning sickness since early May.  That fun stuff kicked in right before Quilt Market.

Here's something fun... this photo of me at Quilt Market is one of the first photos I took after we knew we were expecting.

Quilts for Kids

At last week's doctor's appointment, we were able to see our little peanut for the first time.  Everything is looking healthy and we now know we're having a little boy.  I felt pretty strongly in the beginning we were having a little girl, but the last few weeks my strong feelings about that weakened a bit.

Jason and I are very excited to be adding to our little family.  Lily, our cat, doesn't seem all that excited to be sharing our little house with a newborn, but I'm sure she'll get over it.  My mom might take the cake on the excitement, though.  She's been sewing up all sorts of baby projects and perfecting her "gramma dance".

And now for some of the fun photos...
